Modulo – ‘Ga Bwoy’

Born on November 10 1987, he is Isaac Okpoti also known in show
business as Modulo the ‘Ga Bwoy.’ Besides doing music, the ‘Ga Bwoy’
is one diverse individual, he loves writing, playing video games and
studying. He says he dislikes dumplings!
In terms of how long he has been doing music, he says he cannot put a
finger on it and has been doing it for many years. His style or genre
of music may be described as different with a blend of the British
accent and the typical Ga accent.
He grew up in a Ga community, La. He also had a number of British
friends and family members out there in the United Kingdom who might
have influenced his style.
His track ‘Ga Bwoy’ caused a little stir in his side of town, La,
because the track talks about the daily lives of some of the
neighbourhood boys. This didn’t go down well with them but once it hit
the airwaves, they had no choice but to accept it!
For his listeners, the song certainly goes down well with us on the
dance floor so to speak. Other songs of his include ‘turkey eba’, I’m
good’, ‘practice’ and ‘shut down’.
His music he says is done for the people and no one else. His main
ambition is to put Ghana out there where music is concerned.
Young, energetic and your typical ‘Ga Bwoy’, Modulo is the next big thing.
